His wife, his life

He’d lived most of his life alone, not by choice. Eventually, at 50, he tried to find someone. Just when he’d given up, he met his wife and fell in love with her. They clicked. Kind of. They got a house together, got married. It wasn’t easy, he thought. It was war. Unfairly hampered, he felt, by his emotional stupidity, he usually lost the battle.
